1.Why rent not buy?

Best friends’ wedding, bridesmaids, company annual dinner, photo shootings , special dates..all are just around the corner. They come and they never stop coming. There is always another event you need to attend and the key question is always “What to wear?”

“I need something nice & pretty put on me for this event/occasion but…

a)      I have no time go shopping but I don’t see anything in my wardrobe.

b)      I don’t want to spend so much on a dress that I know isn’t going to last me more than once but I want to look gorgeous.

c)       I have worn this dress before and the picture is all over Facebook! I can’t wear this again!

d)      I have to attend 3 sessions this week, I can’t buy three dresses. It will cost me hundreds or thousands of ringgit. And I have another other next week!  ”

DressMeCrazy (DMC) is about giving all the ladies out there their opportunity to have a virtual wardrobe which you can pick and choose and never ever worry about these questions anymore. You spend a fraction of what you would buying a new dress but you get a new look every single time and look great every single time.

You might not be the main attraction in the wedding you are going to attend (let’s give a chance to the bride), but there is nothing stopping you from being the next best thing…….. EVERY TIME!!

2. Why DressMeCrazy (DMC)?

Why? Because we understand. We put ourselves in our customers shoes. We will never put a dress in our collection we would never wear and we would go all out to ensure that the dress comes to you as on time and as per advertised.

There is no “artist-impressions” at DMC. All the product pictures are 100% shooting in kind. What you see is what you get. Quality is our priority so we ensure all of our dresses which come from all around the world and from different brands are up to mark. We will retire any dress that is no longer fit for use. So you can always guarantee quality is something DMC will never ever compromise on.

3. How much of the shipping charges?

Flat rate RM8 (West Malaysia) / RM12 (East Malaysia) will be charge per order. For major cities in West Malaysia, the delivery usually is next day delivery. And for major cities in East Malaysia, the delivery may takes 2-3 days.

The parcel will be delivery at  your doorstep, and this would required signature so be sure someone at home to avoid any delay of your dresses as you may need it for your important event.

4.  Is there a deposit to be paid? And how is the payment terms?

Yes there is. We charge a 50% up front deposit for each dress. Should you return the dress within the agreed rental period and within acceptable condition, we will ensure refund of the deposit minus the incurred costs of the dress rental within 3 days.

5.  When can i make my order?

As soon as you know your event date you can place the order and your dresses will be reserved for you. Making your reservation sooner will increase the chances of getting your first choice. You can make the rental anytime in advance be it months in advance, however we can accommodate to rentals at latest 3 days before the actual date of commencement. DMC can only guarantee dresses that have been paid for.

6.  How long do I have the dress for?

The prices advertised in our site are for a 4 day period. You can rent for longer days up to a limit of  8 days.  However, should you require an extended rental, please get in touch with our Him&Her Team who will help you arrange where possible.

7.  Do I need to clean the dress before I return it?

No need for that. Just send it back to us and we will ensure the dresses are dry-cleaned!!

8.  What is my size?

You may refer to size dimension as well as size charts we have included in each and every dress we make available for rental. You can always get in touch with our Him&Her Team to get more information.

9. What if the dress doesn’t fit?

Dress comes in different sizes and cuttings. We understand that sometimes a dress is a size your normally wear will not fit as you thought it would. We have a solution for that.

Our return policy
Once the courier arrives and you have signed for the package, we would appreciate you to notify us within the next 24 hours if it does not fit. Our Him&Her Team will assist to work out other options available in our store or other sizes for that dress.

Should there be no solutions in place, you can send it back to us and we will proceed to give you a full refund minus the delivery costs. Refunds are only applicable if the dress does not fit and not if you have a change of mind for the design. Any refunds will be only be in useable DMC credit as we want to ensure the legitimacy of our customer.

10. OH NO!! I got some stains on the dress!! Will I be penalised?

Sometimes you are having so much fun and it happens, you get a stain on your dress. Don’t worry, we charge a nominal fee factored into your rental that covers all these problem. Small food/drink stains, a lost button and minimal tears. We have an onboard dress stylist to sort this out for us as well as a great partnership with a dress cleaning company to help sort those out. So do not worry about that…. We will sort those out for you.

However, if the dress is damaged beyond repair, we would have to charge our customers the full retail price and make a report with the local law authorities if required.

11. How do I return the dress?

There are a few options :-

a)      Send it back to us. We will attached a small note with our return address. You can use any postal services you wish but we will give a fixed cash rebate of RM5 to all our customers when they deliver the dress back to us.

b)      Call us up for pick up the dress and this will be charge RM15 per pick up. (*Note: We only service a couple of routes in the Klang Valley at this moment in time. Please get in touch with our Him&Her Team for confirmation upon booking)

c)       Drop it at our center. Our main operations center is at Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur. Please get in touch with our Him&Her Team upon initial booking for confirmation on the exact drop off point.

Kindly keep your receipt in case we have not received the return of the dress. We’ll need your receipt to prove the dress has been sent as it may accidentally lost during the delivery on the side of the delivery provider.

We reserve the right to request customer to pay the amount of stated in the retail price of the dress if the customer cannot provide proof of return delivery.

12. When will the rental date commence?

Rental date will commence the day after you receive your dress. Example, if you requested for Friday until Monday, you will received the dress from us on Thursday. Should you receive it earlier, don’t worry, we will stick the time period you requested and there will be no extra charge.

13. I cannot control when the delivery company delivers the dress back to DressMeCrazy. Will I be penalized?

Don’t worry. We will refer back date stamped on the delivery date as reference. As long as it is not stamped after the 4 day rental period, you will not be charged extra.

14. How can I be sure that I will get the dress?

We fully understand unlike other services, your event will not wait for anyone or get delayed for a missing dress. Rest be assured, we have a lot of sizes and ready stocks available so you need not worry on the availability of the dress. Should there be a delay in the delivery, please get in touch with our Him&Her Team and we will liaise with the delivery company on the status.

15. I have made a booking but I saw this new more gorgeous one! What can I do?

Quickly get in touch with our Him&Her Team to book that dress. We will transfer the credit you have made on the previous dress to the new dress and any additional balance will need to be made. However, we can only accommodate to such changes no more than 3 days before the actual rental period commences.

16. What if my event date is changed or cancelled? What can I do?

Quickly get in touch with our Him&Her Team. We can assist to change the booking subject to availability at no extra charge. Should you not require the dress anymore due to some changes, we will credit the balance into your personal account with DMC where you can use the credit for future rentals.

Please be advised that we can only accommodate to changes 3 days before the actual commencement of the rental. Anything after this time period, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate to.

17. Do I have the option to buy the dress?

No. Unfortunately we do not sell any of the dresses as we want every single lady out there to have the opportunity to experience and enjoy these dresses. That is what DMC is all about. However from time to time, we have special sales so please do look out for our Sale section

18. How do I know that my dress is clean up to best standards?

One of our key company guiding principles is that we will never rent out a dress that we ourselves were not willing to wear. That is true for quality of dress as well as the cleanliness. We have a partnership with a cleaning service which was selected from many after understanding their process and testing out their services on our own to ensure they meet our high criteria.

19. Who is the Him & Her Team?

Him & Her Team is the heart of DMC. They source for dresses worldwide, getting the best suppliers and brands into DMC. They ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our customer issues are properly managed.  Every dress order is individually managed by a staff within the Him & Her Team as the most important aspect of the Him & Her Team is that our customers get what they wanted….. the gorgeous dress.
